This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my website. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

Want to level up your brewing? Join Megan Gemmel at 1000 Hills Chef School for a hands-on sensory session that will train your palate to identify off-flavours. The fee includes the tasting session, plus a beer and some pizza. It's a great chance to sharpen your skills with fellow brewers.
August 23, 20269:00 am - 10:00 am Lions River/Langtons
Intervarsity teams from 4 different institutions in the Durban /Pmb areas will join Homebrewers from the club on a Brew day.
There will be 4x Brews by students and Homebrewers from the club to help them. All 4 Brews will then be served and judged at the Oktoberfest event with Westville Warehouse in October.
Thank you @DHB24 - Megan Gemmell for helping us get this event going!
We would need YOUR help to successfully get this event going by asking the following :
1. We need a Brewing system for each team, including a fermenter (4 in total)
2. Brewers to help the students with their brew and also help with any questions they might have on the day.
3. Support on the day. We will have a braai going and beers on tap to purchase. Please come support the breweries and also help transfer knowledge to the students.
The Brews will be led by a Homebrewer, so we won't leave the students to take over your system without you 👀 or you can nominate another brewer, fimiliar with your setup, to be present.
This day is for transfer of knowledge : the students will create the recipe (ingredients will be sponsored), help with the Brew and learn how to do small scale batches on a homebrew level.
We want to get more involved with the students and show our love for our community. This is a great opportunity to chat and network with a generation to get them excited about our craft.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please message Anelda
